In the face of financial crisis, this is a step up for the country. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Director-General Francis Gurry said that dynamic innovations hubs are growing worldwide even with the tough situation the international economy is currently experiencing.

“These hubs influence local advantages with a global outlook on markets and talent,” Gurry said.

Other countries that made it to the top 10 list (in order) are: United States of America, Finland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Denmark, and Ireland.
