PSV Eindhoven Signs Adam Maher

AZ Alkmaar’s Adam Maher is the latest member of PSV Eindhoven, an announcement made by both clubs. Maher will join the club in a five-year deal after he passes the medical tests. The specifics on Sunday’s agreement are already settled, without revealing the transfer fee. Adam Maher
Miss Messi/Wikimedia Commons The 19-year-old midfielder has huge potentials in the Dutch sport. During his time with AZ Alkmaar, he played 66 league games and scored 12 times. He scored the first goal and directed AZ in their 2-1 victory against PSV in the Dutch Cup final a couple of months ago. To date, he has played four games for the national squad. In 2012 and earlier this year, PSV showed their interest in the young player but did not formally bid. Maher, however, has already pointed out his preparedness to set on a new challenge in the Netherlands, either signing with PSV or Ajax. More than a week ago, Ajax confirmed they are no longer interested in Maher. By now, PSV signed Jeffrey Bruma (Chelsea) and Florian Jozefzoon (RKC Waalwijk), making Maher the third player to join them.
