Glennis Grace takes Best Female Singer award

Glennis Grace was named the Best Female Singer at the annual Sterren.nl Awards for three consecutive years. The Annual Sterren.nl Awards aims to commemorate Netherlands’ popular music and supports up and coming pop music artists. The singer beat fellow nominees Ruth Jacott and Sieneke. She said that she feels privileged and she’s very grateful for all those who voted for her. Grace represented the Netherlands during the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. She sang My Impossible Dream but she did not make it to the finals. She has five albums, two of which attained the Dutch album chart’s number two spot. The award presentation will be aired in the Netherlands on June 16, Sunday at 4:50pm.
