The Wild West in Amsterdam

On Monday, 20 police cars, 10 motorcycles and a helicopter chased two suspects of an armed robbery in Amsterdam-West to the entrance of the Amsterdamse Bos.The police said that because the suspects fired shots during the robbery on the Jan den Haenstraat, they had to fire a warning shot when they tried to arrest the two. No one got injured. RTL.nl reported that the police had started to conduct their investigation at the Jan den Haenstraat and at the crossing of Amstelveenseweg, Bosbaanweg and Van Nijenrodeweg. This is close to the entrance of the recreational area, which houses the rowing course on the Bosbaan.
