A spokesperson for the Ministry of Security and Justice confirmed that the Ukrainian disaster relief will start searching for any remaining personal belongings and remains of passengers of flight MH17 today.
Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine say that there is no truth in the claim that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is not allowed into the area where the Malaysia Airlines plane crashed on the 17th of July. They insist rather that they have always worked "effectively" together with the organization.
The Netherlands' Prime Minister Mark Rutte has, in a telephone conversation, asked Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to put an end to the hostilities around the crash site of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. This, so that the investigative team, including Dutch forensic experts, can have safe access to the site.
