The police found firearms and ammunition on the grounds of a lumber company in Brunssum on Wednesday. The owner of the company, Frenk W., made headlines last year when he buried his deceased wife in their garden, the Telegraaf reports.
Frenk Windels may keep his deceased wife buried in his backyard for the time being, the Brunssum city council decided on Thursday, 1Limburg reports.
Windels decided to bury the remains of his wife in his own backyard on July 24th, after she suddenly died of a heart attack. According to him, it was her wish. But Windels did so without authorization.
On Tuesday the court in Maastricht gave a 57-year-old man permission to temporarily leave his deceased wife buried in his own garden in Brunssum. The body can remain buried in the garden at least until the Brunssum city council made a decision on the widower's request for his wife to be legally buried in the garden
