Dutch oil and gas giant Shell has known about the dangers of climate change for over 30 years, yet still continues to work with fossil fuels and does its best to frustrate an effective approach to the climate problems facing the world, according to a reconstruction done by De Correspondent and published on Tuesday.
Seven young Dutch people worked their way onto American business magazine Forbes' 30 under 30 list - the list in which Forbes introduces new up-and-coming talent to its readers.
In little more than a week, De Correspondent has reached its target number of 15,000 members. “A milestone in the field of crowdfunding,” writes De Correspondent on its website.
The journalism project of the former nrc.next editor Rob Wijnberg needed 15,000 paying members to be able to start the project. The necessary start-up capital of 900,000 euro was exceeded to more than a million.
