A teenager from Tilburg is facing threats after the police mistakenly showed a photo of him as a suspect in the assault of a 73-year-old man on television program Bureau Brabant on Monday. The boy's family is considering filing a damage claim and pressing charges of slander and libel, the family confirmed to Brabants Dagblad.

The photo was shown in connection with the assault of a 73-year-old man from Tilburg. He was badly injured after being pushed from a staircase.
Some 1 billion euros in cannabis is produced in Brabant alone, the police announced in a special broadcast of Bureau Brabant in which attention was paid to subversive crime in the province. "Brabanders can definitely not smoke so much weed. A large part is therefore intended for export", the police said.

In such an investigation the police would ask men to voluntarily give a DNA sample so that the offender could be traced through family trees and matching chromosomes, Omroep Brabant reports.
