Police seize drugs, illegal medicines in Amsterdam-Noord home and storage unit
Police found large quantities of illegal drugs, medicines, and tobacco products during a search of a home and attached storage unit in Amsterdam-Noord, authorities reported.
The discovery included hard and soft drugs, illegal medicines, snus, and illegal cigarettes. The search was carried out as part of a joint inspection by police, the municipality, and the anti-organized crime task force.
Authorities seized hundreds of small packages containing cocaine and speed, hundreds of grip bags containing 3-MMC and ketamine, more than 1,000 pills, including ecstasy, 2C-B, Valium, and other benzodiazepines.
Officers also found dozens of LSD tabs, several bottles of GHB, illegal cigarettes, and snus.
“These targeted inspections are regularly carried out in Amsterdam to combat undermining crime,” police said in a post on Instagram.
