Man stabbed in Venray home, 24-year-old suspect arrested

A man was stabbed Sunday evening inside his home on De Seilier in Venray and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, police said.

A 24-year-old man was arrested shortly after the attack in connection with the incident, L1 reports.

The stabbing occurred around 9:15 p.m. Emergency services responded immediately, and the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Police have not released details on the extent of his injuries.

According to L1's correspondent, the suspect was also injured, suffering a wound to his right hand, and was treated by police at the scene.

The house and surrounding area were cordoned off for forensic investigation.
