Man stabbed in Vlijmen street dispute; Police searching for suspect

A 38-year-old man was injured Friday evening in a stabbing on Rembrandtstraat in Vlijmen following a dispute with a known acquaintance, who fled the scene, police said.

The victim sustained wounds to his head and hand and was transported to a hospital for treatment, Omroep Brabant reported.

The altercation, described by authorities as stemming from a business-related conflict, escalated when one of the men stabbed the other.

“The suspect fled the scene and remains at large,” a police spokesperson said. “We are actively searching for the individual and urge anyone who witnessed the fight or the events afterward to come forward.”
