Singer S10's twin critically hurt in fall from A'dam flat after alleged hostage taking

Singer S10’s twin brother was seriously injured last Wednesday after falling from a flat on the Osdorper Ban in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The 24-year-old man from Hoorn is in a coma in the hospital with critical injuries, De Telegraaf reports. According to his mom, he was held hostage in the flat for hours, and the kidnappers demanded ransom.

The man fell from the fourth floor and landed on the roof of a garage, his mother said. A couple who heard the impact rushed to his aid and called the emergency services. He sustained brain damage, a broken neck, broken ribs, a perforated lung, a broken hip, and broken shoulder blades. His condition is critical.

The police arrested the resident of the flat where he fell from, a 60-year-old man from Amsterdam, and are investigating what happened. “Whether a crime has been committed is being investigated,” the police told the Telegraaf. “Other scenarios, such as an accident, cannot be ruled out at this time.”

S10 was scheduled to perform in Zwolle on Thursday, but canceled the concert on Tuesday due to “personal problems.” She also canceled her performance at Paaspop last weekend. Her management would not comment to the newspaper.

The Zwolle concert was to be the kick-off of her new tour. Her next performance is on May 1 in Eindhoven and has not be canceled yet.
