Boy stabbed in Amsterdam supermarket; Three suspects at large

A boy got stabbed in a supermarket on Kinkerstraat in Amsterdam West on Sunday evening. Emergency services rushed him to a hospital with serious injuries. The police are looking for three suspects.

The stabbing happened at around 7:30 p.m., according to ANP. The police, an ambulance, and a trauma team by helicopter responded to the scene.

First responders stabilized the victim and then rushed him to a hospital. He was conscious in the ambulance, a police spokesperson said.

The police did not disclose the age of the victim, but AT5 reported that he appeared to be underage.

According to the Amsterdam broadcaster, the victim argued with three men shortly before the stabbing. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

The police were looking for the suspects and asked witnesses to come forward.
