Video: Shooting on parking lot of Barendrecht sports hall; Three arrested

The police arrested three men for possible involvement in a shooting in the parking lot of a sports hall on Schubertdreef in Barendrecht. As far as is known, no one got hurt.

The Rotterdam police reported on X that they responded to the parking lot at around 10:45 p.m. after reports of shots fired. Witnesses saw two cars speeding away.

First responders found no victims in the area but did find multiple bullet casings and other indications of a shooting taking place.

According to Rijnmond, two of the three suspects were arrested in the parking lot where the shooting happened. NOS reported that the parking lot was attached to a sports hall.

The police are investigating what happened.
