Ukrainian embassy in The Hague implementing security measures after threat

Ukraine has increased security at multiple embassies, including the one in The Hague, after these embassies received anonymous letters threatening them with a bomb.

“The letters contained threats intended to disrupt the activities of our missions,” the Ukrainian embassy in The Hague told Omroep West. It said that dozens of Ukrainian embassies around the world received similar letters. NOS reported that a total of six embassies were threatened.

“After a thorough assessment of the situation, the work of Ukrainian diplomatic institutions continued without interruption, despite these attempts,” the embassy said, calling the threats “another act of Russian aggression.”

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andri Sybiha instructed all embassies to tighten security. The embassy in The Hague is in contact with the Dutch police about the situation.
