Dutch DJ to launch escape room during ADE

Longtime Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren will launch a special edition escape room during Amsterdam Dance Event later this month. Van Buuren teamed up with top-rated escape room firm Sherlocked Mystery Experiences to provide teams with an 80-minute long session at 159 euros per team.

Game players will have to work together to figure out secrets to the Armada Music founder’s success. The escape room, dubbed “Balance”, is also a promotion for Van Buuren’s upcoming album of the same name.

“I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of the album and the game, and I hope you can fully lose yourselves in the story of Balance and that you manage to get out unscathed of course!” the DJ said in a statement. He also said he is a huge fan of escape rooms.

Balance opens in the Beurs van Berlage on October 16. It is scheduled to close on October 25. The game will be available in English and Dutch for teams up to six players.
