Man wanted for kicking passerby's dog to death

The police are looking for a man who kicked a dog to death for no apparent reason in Tiel on Monday evening. The owner was walking the dog when they were approached by the man. He immediately started kicking and beating the dog, RTL Nieuws reports.

The attack happened in a parking lot in the Passewaaij district. According to Omroep Gelderland, the suspect is 1.95 meters tall and was wearing a balaclava with red holes.

The police initially posted a call for witnesses on Facebook, but later removed the post. Instead of information related to the case, the post only received emotional comments, the police said. "We understand your frustration, but there were messages in between that could not be allowed."

The investigation is ongoing.
