Millions view viral video mocking Dutch love/hate with fireworks

Some 2.7 million people had watched the Survival Guide to the Dutch's hilarious and serious take on the fireworks tradition in the Netherlands around New Year's Eve. The video went live on Sunday on social media platforms Facebook and Youtube.

Some 68 million euros is spent on fireworks in the Netherlands, the video notes. Millions of euros in damage are also caused by fireworks each year. The country is rather divided over the legality of fireworks in the country.

Over 19,000 complaints about fireworks were posted to Vuurwerkfederatie.nl so far this season.
