Three Dutch found dead in Spain; police investigating

The bodies of three Dutch people were found in a house in the Spanish town of Coin, near the city of Malaga. The Spanish police are investigating how they died, NOS reports.

According to Spanish media, the victims are a 62-year-old man, his 59-year-old wife and his 89-year-old mother-in-law. The bodies were in the house for some time. They were found after neighbors complained about a strong stench.

Reports are making the rounds that the 59-year-old woman was terminally ill and that the three committed suicide together, according to the broadcaster. But the police can not yet exclude that they were murdered. Autopsies will be done on the bodies to determine the cause of death.
