Gun waving man arrested in Bergen op Zoom

The police in Bergen op Zoom arrested a man on Thursday evening for waving a firearm around in the vicinity of children. The same man was arrested a week earlier, then because he was walking around with a weapon in his waistband, RTL Nieuws reports.

In last week's incident, the weapon turned out to be fake. Then the police were only able to arrest him after firing a warning shot.

Whether the incident on Thursday involved a real weapon, is not yet clear. The man was located in a house. When the police arrived he came out and was immediately arrested. He did not have a weapon on him at the time.

The police are investigating.
