Ten tips received in 1989 murder

The police received 10 tips about the murder of 32-year-old Wilma Bres in 1989. The medical student was stabbed to death 150 meters from her home in Delft, ANP reports.

The case was discussed on Opsporing Verzocht and various other television programs on Tuesday evening. The police are currently investigating the tips, a police spokesperson said to the news wire.

This cold case was reopened after the police recently received an anonymous tip about a possible perpetrator. The police described the new information as "concrete and valuable".
