Tilburg can close Satudarah bar for six weeks: court

Tilburg can close a bar frequented by outlaw motorcycle gang Satudarah for six weeks, the court ruled on Thursday. The closure follows the discovery of two knives and about 20 bags containing residues of cocaine during a police raid in March. The court's motivation will follow later. The bar, called Drinks & Dance, must close on Friday, ANP reports.

A previous attempt to close the bar on Zevenheuvelenweg failed because the proprietor won a lawsuit against the municipality.

The police consider Drinks & Dance to be the clubhouse of Satudarah. The proprietor denies this. Satudarah members meet each other regularly in the bar, but it is also open to other visitors, she says.
