DJ Martin Garrix takes over famed Amsterdam studio

DJ Martin Garrix is taking over FC Walvisch recording studio on Wenckebachweg in Amsterdam Oost. The studio will continue under the nae STMPD recording studios, named after the record company Garrix founded himself, Het Parool reports.

FC Walvisch boasts an impressive list of artists who recorded there, including Pharrel Williams, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, The Script, David Guetta and Martin Garrix himself. Martin Walvisch, founder of the studio, and his team are also moving over to STMPD recording studios.

The studio will be renovated in the coming months, but will remain available during the construction work.
