Dutch DJ Afrojack accused of abusing girlfriend; calls allegations absurd

Lauren Meditz is accusing Dutch DJ Afrojack of abusing her while they were in a relationship and is demanding $25 million from him in compensation, according to an indictment that appeared on Radar Online on Thursday. Afrojack calls the allegations "absurd" in a statement to newspaper AD. "They are only intended to bring me down."

According to the indictment, Meditz is accusing 29-year-old Nick van der Wall, Afrojack's real name, of forcing to do things she did not want to do and fraud. She claims that he threatened suicide when he could not reach her and made her undergo cosmetic procedures to meet his ideal of beauty. In addition to the compensation, Meditz also wants their dog Dory and a Range Rover he once gave her.

According to the Dutch DJ, this is complete nonsense. "It is an absurd accusation made by my ex-girlfriend who is solely out to bring me down. What she is saying is not true and is fiction. You have no right to demand this for the sole reason that your boyfriend ended the relationship", he said to the newspaper. He believes that the indictment will be dismissed, indicating that this is not the first time Meditz tried to get him like this.
