Recruitment agency founder again named Netherlands richest

Frits Goldschmeding, founder of recruitment agency Randstad, is again on top of the Quote 500 list - the list of the richest Netherlands residents. This is despite seeing his wealth drop by a quarter this past year, AD reports.

Goldschmeding tops the list with assets amounting to 3.5 billion euros. Second place went to construction magnate Dik Wessels, who saw his assets increase by 10 percent to 3.3 billion euros. And in third is chemisstry billionaire Hans Melchers, whose assets increased by 25 percent to 2.5 billion euros.

The richest Dutch person abroad is Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, with 11 billioin euros in her bank account. The richest family is the Brenninkmeijer family of the C&A chain, who collectively own 21 billion euros.
