Groninger Museum scraps entrance fee for kids, students

The Groningen Museum is scrapping the entrance fee for children and students. From September 1st, kids under the age of 18 years and students in Groningen can enter visit the museum free of charge, GIC reports. The museum hopes that this will encourage more young people to visit the museum, thereby enriching their cultural environment and contributing to their overall development. The free entrance is also intended to strengthen ties with Groningen. The free entrance will kick off with a party on September 1st, with additional activities and tours for children, teens and students.
