Almere man arrested for doing unlicensed circumcisions at asylum center

A 59-year-old man from Almere was arrested on Thursday for performing careless and unlicensed circumcisions on young boys in the asylum center in Katwijk, ANP reports. According to the news wire, the man circumcised six young boys on Sunday, July 24th. In at least one case the child had to be taken to the hospital due to complication. The police and Public Prosecutor are investigating the circumstances around these circumcisions and also whether the man had the competency to do them.
