Stowaways found in Spanish truck on Dutch border

The Dutch police discovered three stowaways in the loading compartment of a Spanish fruit truck at the Hazeldonk border crossing on Thursday afternoon. All three stowaways are African men, two from Eritrea and one from Sudan. The police searched the truck after a tip from their Belgian colleagues. The three stowaways were checked by paramedics before being handed over to the Immigration police. The 36-year-old Spanish truck driver was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking.
