Eight arrested in Tilburg drug ring investigation

Eight people were arrested in Tilburg on Tuesday as part of a large investigation into narcotics trade. Six are still in custody. The other two, hard drug buyers, were released after questioning, the police announced in a statement. The suspects are six men between the ages of 32 and 38 and two women aged 31 and 54 years. The police searched the suspects' homes and found several hundred grams of what is believed to be cocaine as well as several thousands of euros in cash. Both drugs and cash were seized. The police launched this investigation after getting a tip about a 34-year-old Tilburg man dealing drugs.
