Pokemon hunting teens stumble across dead body

Five teenage boys in Baarn discovered a dead body in a pond on Monday night while hunting for Pokemon in the immensely popular new smartphone game Pokemon Go, Trouw reports. The boys immediately alerted the authorities. "That was unfortunate for Luke. He just had one, but then he had to close the app to call 112", thirteen year old Jip Vermeij told local newspaper Gooi-en Eemlander. It is believed that the dead woman lived in a nearby nursing home. Emergency services tried to resuscitate her, but to no avail. Pokemon Go - a new smartphone game in which players find and catch Pokemon in the real word via their camera phones - is already causing some problems in the Netherlands. A number of police forces issued warnings for players to remain alert to their surroundings. And AMC Amsterdam asked players not to hunt for Pokemon in the hospital.
