Wilders' PVV party dropping in popularity

Anti-Islam party PVV is losing popularity in the latest poll on Peilingwijzer. While Geert Wilders' party is still the largest party with between 29 and 33 virtual parliamentary seats, the party is now five seats lower than at its peak in January, NOS reports. The SP is also falling on the polls. The Christian party currently stands at betwee 14 and 17 seats, almost at the same level as in the previous elections when the party got 15 seats. Peilingwijzer creator TOm Louwerse calls it remarkable that the SP is still falling in the polls. The SP fell when the PVV gained popularity, but isn't recovering now that the PVV is losing seats. The party is about 7 seats lower than last year around this time. GroenLinks keeps gaining in the polls under its new leader Jesse Klaver. The party is now at 12 to 14 seats, three more than a year ago. The VVD is gaining on the PVV with 24 to 28 seats. There's been little movement in the other parties. The CDA is currently at 16 to 18 seats, the D66 stands at 14 to 18 and the PvdA dropped to seventh place in the polls with 10 to 12 seats.
