Man arrested for false bomb threat at Eindhoven Airport

A 66 year old man from Vlissingen was arrested on Monday after claiming to have a bomb at a security check at Eindhoven airport, the Koninklijke Marechaussee reports on Facebook. According to the Marechaussee, a military policing force responsible for airport security in the Netherlands, the man stated he had a bomb in his bag at least three times. The security check was closed down for a short time as the man's luggage was investigated. The man was arrested. Investigation showed that the man's luggage contained nothing dangerous. The Public Prosecutor fined the man 500 euros and released him from custody.
