Shepherd dog attacks children leaving two hurt

Two young children were injured in Almelo on Saturday when a shepherd dog attacked them, Dutch newspaper AD reports. The dog's owner managed to overpower the beast after it bit one of the children on the buttocks. But the dog escaped its owner's grip and bit the other child on the side. The children were taken to the hospital to be treated for the bruises, abrasions and cuts they sustained.. According to the newspaper, their parents spoke to the police on Sunday on how to best proceed in this matter.
