Amsterdam brewery Oedipus wants to trade beer for solar panels

The men behind Amsterdam brewery Oedipus are in need of solar panels to generate sustainable energy and decided to turn to crowdfunding to raise this money. But instead of promising investors euros in returns, they are promising beer. This means that the investors will have to be beer lovers, but luckily there is no shortage of that in the Netherlands and the world. The minimum investment is 50 euros, and in return you will get 25 beers in the next four years, with a total value of 62.50 euros. The Amsterdam brewers have one simple goal, they write on their crowdfunding page: "To make flavorful beer that is different from the status quo. The first skills we learned in the kitchen on two large pots and in no time the whole house was filled with crates of beer, refrigerators and other brewing gear."
