Delft Technical Univ. threat prompts further security scrutiny

The Technical University Delft continued with extra security measures on Friday due to a threat to the university. Police officers are present at the university and students who want to use the library or aula are subject to a bag check, The Telegraaf reports. Neither the university nor the police will comment on the nature of the threat. On Thursday the university called it a "potential threat with limited risk". "We are just being extra alert", a spokesperson for the police said to the Telegraaf on Friday. It is not clear how long these extra security measures will remain in place.
