Utrecht man arrested after bringing dead body to police station

A 61 year old Utrecht man was arrested after walking into the police station and telling officers that there was a dead body in his car. Officers went outside to take a look and found the dead body of a 53 year old man from Maarssen in the man's car. The victim was reported missing on Saturday, but seems to have been missing longer than that. The Utrecht man was arrested on suspicion of involvement in his death, RTV Utrecht reports. The police are searching the suspect's apartment on Valparaisodreef in Overvecht. "We're looking to find traces that can tell us something about what happened there", a police spokesperson said to the broadcaster. He would say nothing on whether the victim and the suspect knew each other.
