Madness at Dutch H&M stores as shoppers target Balmain clothing

The release of the Balmain-collection in H&M stores on Thursday, led to complete madness in the Dutch stores. The first Balmain-fans started lining up in front stores on Wednesday evening already. Two hours after start of sale, the stores were sold out, the Telegraaf reports. "There is great demand every year. We work with well-known designers. This year, the collection was very well received", a spokesperson for H&M said to the newspaper. The Balmain collection is not only popular in the physical stores, but also online. The first items of the designer collection was available on Marktplaats shortly after the stores opened on Thursday morning, obviously for at least twice as much as the original purchase price. By noon there were more than a hundred items on the website. Two hours after the start of sales, the entire collection was available on Marktplaats. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153252746352602&set=a.10152852734587602.1073741835.700207601&type=3&permPage=1 https://www.facebook.com/mra75004/videos/10153720017097236/?permPage=1
