KLM scraps Bali flights on volcanic ash concerns
Indonesia has closed the Bail airport due to the ash cloud caused by a volcanic eruption on nearby island Lombok. The airport will be closed until Thursday at the earliest. This means that there will be no KLM flights to or from Bali on Wednesday, RTL Nieuws reports.
KLM also had to cancel a flight to Bali on Tuesday, leaving passengers stranded in Singapore.
The airline itself has not released any information about the situation on their website, Twitter or Facebook accounts, leaving a number of passengers annoyed. The airline did respond to one tweet, saying that the airports in Bali are closed and all affected passenger bookings will be changed as the situation develops.
