Rotterdam police investigate possible murder-suicide

The police are investigating a possible murder-suicide involving a married couple from Capelle aan den IJssel. The lifeless body of a man was found on the Whilehminakade in Rotterdam in the early morning hours of Tuesday. The police believe that the man committed suicide by jumping off a nearby building. Once the police identified the man as a 45 year old man from Capelle aan den IJssel, officers went to his home to inform his wife of his death. There the officers found his 40 year old wife dead in their home. The police suspect foul play. The police are investigating these two death. Evidence gathered so far seem to indicate that the man killed his wife, traveled to Rotterdam and then killed himself. The police will not make any further comment in the interest of the couple's relatives.
