Home invader dozes off in stolen car, arrested

Following a burglary on Hillegomweg in Arnhem, police arrested the alleged perpetrator found sleeping in a stolen car along with the items missing from the invaded house, Dutch police reported on Monday. An Arnhem resident discovered items missing in his house on Monday, including his car keys and a company car. After taking a statement from the victim, police continued with a search of the surrounding areas. The company car was found on Van Limburg Stirumstraat near the town of Elst. Police found a 42-year old man from Leeuwarden inside, who they say is well-known to local law enforcement. The suspect was still in custody Monday night for further investigation and questioning.
