"Fuck de Koning" vandals caught on palace security cameras

The vandals who spray painted "Fuck the King" on the royal palace in Amsterdam sometime during Wednesday night, was caught doing so on security camera, according to a spokesperson for the Central Government Real Estate Agency. The Central Government Real Estate Agency is responsible for the management of the building. The spokesperson did not disclose what exactly the surveillance camera footage shows or how many people were involved, NOS reports The graffiti is presumably related to the prosecution of activist Abulkasim Al-Jaberi. He is being prosecuted for insulting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima by saying "fuck the king, fuck the queen, fuck the royal house" during a Zwarte Piet protest in November last year. According to NOS, the municipality had no trouble in washing the graffiti off the royal palace as the facade of the building just got a new coat of beeswax, specifically intended to protect the building against graffiti.
