More Germans held in vicious bachelor party brawl

Police say they have arrested 15 out of a group of 78 Germans who fought back when officers stopped them from physically assaulting someone in Renesse on Sunday April 12. Two officers had been injured during the fracas.

The fight occurred around 2.40am. A group of 78 Germans were in Renesse at a bachelor’s party; on their way back from a discotheque to their touring car, a fight broke out with another group that was also at the resort. One man in particular fell victim to the wrath of the Germans. When police intervened, the Germans turned on the officers. Six police officers and a security guard filed police reports against the visitors. The man who they assaulted also filed a report. Police say the suspects are being heard. Video footage of the incident has been secured and people who may have more footage are being asked to come forward.
