Death threats against NS staffer in Amsterdam

A member of the NS security team was threatened with death at Amsterdam Centraal last night, RTV Noord Holland reports. The incident occurred during a ticket check. One passenger did not have a ticket and threatened the NS employee with death when he asked to see the ticket. NS confirmed that the incident happened to the newspaper. A spokesperson called it "a very serious threat". NS will be pressing charges against the passenger. At least one conductor stopped working after the incident, to show solidarity with the threatened colleague.
