Dead man found inside burning car

A body was found in a burning car on Reestlaan in Meppel this morning, the police in Drenthe reports on Twitter. The car was standing in a hedge with its engine running. The victim has not yet been identified, but the police have suspicions based on vehicle information. The family of the suspected victim has been informed. The circumstances of the victim's death and how the car came to be burning in a hedge is still unclear.
