Online retailer Wehkamp to give style advice via WhatsApp

Online retailer Wehkamp has started a test in which three style experts give style advice to clients via WhatsApp for free. According to the company, this is the first time something like this is done in the Netherlands and in the online retail market. With this service, style experts will be able to quickly give appropriate advice on the wide range of brands and products that the online store has to offer. According to WehKamp, WhatsApp is ideal for this service as it is easily accessible and 10 million Dutch consumers are actively using the app. The number of style experts will shortly be increased. "By using WhatsApp we have direct contact with the customer and we can help them in making the right choice within the width of the fashion range. We have observed that our customers are constantly looking for convenience and are happy to be advised." said Puck Landewe, editorial team leader at wehkamp.nl. According to Landewe, the company has been accommodating this need for some time by personalizing the website and their online magazine. "That our style experts can now also give customers live and completely free advice via WhatsApp, is for us a logical continuation."
