Amsterdam buses shot at with air rifles

Four GVB buses were shot at with (presumably) air rifles in Amsterdam over the weekend, AT5 reports. The first two buses, route 35 and 37, were fired upon on Friday afternoon while they were driving one behind the other on Werktuigstraat. Just after midnight on Sunday night/Monday morning a similar incident occurred. This time two buses were hit with air-gun pellets on Tuigerstraat, around the corner form the first incident. No one was injured during the incidents, but the buses' windows were shattered. Sources told the newspaper that bus drivers are afraid to drive these routes and want the routes diverted. GVB has reported the incidents to the police.
