Stalking suspect caught with electroshock device, weapons

The police arrested a 56 year old suspected stalker in Groningen on Monday. Police officers reprimanded the man for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk on Boterdiep on Monday morning. After checking the man's identity, the officers realized he still had to be questioned in an stalking investigation. While searching the suspect the police found two cans of pepper spray and and a electroshock device on his person. The officers also searched the man's home and found more weapons, including a pistol, more electroshock weapons, knives and several cans of pepper spray. All of these weapons were seized.
