Remains of MH17 victims arrive in Hilversum
Remains of the victims of disaster flight MH17 arrived at Eindhoven airbase on Saturday afternoon. As with the previous arrivals, there were again people along the route of the funeral procession to Hilversum, De Telegraaf reports.
This was the eighth time that human remains from the plane crash arrived in the Netherlands. There was a ceremony at the airbase. The ceremony was attended by about 150 relatives and Minister Ronald Plasterk (Internal Affairs) and Minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert (Defense) on behalf of the Cabinet.
After the ceremony the remains were taken to the Korporaal van Oudheusden Barracks in Hilversum for identification.
