Security camera footage released in Ajax fire

The police have released footage from security cameras in the area around the Amsterdam Arena of the night that the Ajax clubhouse burnt down. The police have determined that the fire was caused by arson and two probable perpetrators were caught on the cameras. The fire started around 03:00 on Friday morning, January 23rd. The footage of a security camera at Strandvliet subway station show two men walking in the direction of the clubhouse at 02:51 a.m.

Footage from other cameras show the same men arriving at the Ajax fan clubhouse and walk around it for a while. One of the men is carrying a bag.

At 03:14 the men are back in the tunnel at the metro station, now running the other way.

The police would like to talk to anyone who may recognize one of these men. They would also like to make contact with anyone who was in the area around 03:00 and saw anything that seemed suspicious.
