Four charged in August fatal home invasion

Four men have been arrested in the investigation into the house robbery on Goudenregenplanstoen in Rijnsburg on August 4th, 2014. They are suspected of involvement in the robbery in which the 58 year old resident was killed. Three of the four suspects were arrested on Tuesday. The suspects are a 19 year old man from The Hague, a 19 year old man from Almere, a 27 year old man from Amsterdam and a 36 year old man also from Almere. The man from the Hague was arrested on October 29th in Curacao and was delivered to the Netherlands on November 7th. He appeared before the magistrate yesterday. On the night of Sunday August 3rd/morning of Monday August 4th, several men invaded the home in Rijnsburg while the residents were sleeping. The robbers harassed the residents and ransacked the house. When police officers arrived the 58 year old man was not conscious. The police tried resuscitating the man, but to no avail. He died at the scene.
